DANIEL
MORÁN
My work blends conversion copywriting, SEO, and tech stacks that real business owners can actually use — without needing a marketing degree or 12 tools duct-taped together.
I build funnels. I write emails. I ghostwrite newsletters, websites, and landing pages. I create brand strategies that align with actual business goals — not vanity metrics.
I test, tweak, rewrite, and rebuild when necessary. I teach when it helps. No hype. No jargon. Just results — in your inbox, in your booking calendar, and yes, in the bank.
I like partnerships built on outcomes, not promises. You win, I win. That’s the deal.
LET ME HELP YOU WIN.
EXPERIENCE
OPINION MARKETING
FOUNDER
After my certification from Columbia I took my time to build this SaaS platform with two key systems:
🧭 Direct Demand Zones — lead generation powered by ranked websites and call tracking
📣 The Show Up Method — an all-in-one toolkit for reviews, listings, messaging, and content strategy implementation.
I lead strategy, copy, sales, and systems — focused on results, not just reach.

EXPERIENCE
MARKET SALES LEADER
BIMBO BAKERIES
At BBU, I managed direct-store delivery across NYC’s five boroughs — leading 10 to 15 drivers and handling sales territories from $1M to $3M.
Tight routes, early mornings, dozens of deliveries a day. I got to know the city through hundreds of bodegas and corner stores.
That job taught me how to lead under pressure, move fast, and show up — every damn day.

Who Am I ?
I come from ink and paper.
I was born in Puebla, Mexico, where my father was a master printer. As a kid, I’d watch him work — letters pressed onto paper, slowly and precisely. That rhythm of building things by hand has stayed with me ever since.
By the time I was 20, I had finished college with a degree in engineering — but I knew I wouldn’t earn a decent wage back home. What really pulled my attention was the internet. It felt like unlimited potential. This was 2006, and I started buying and developing domain names. By 2008, I had acquired hundreds.
That same year, I applied online for a position with Royal Caribbean — and soon found myself working as a DJ and host aboard the Adventure of the Seas. It was my first taste of hospitality: welcoming people from around the world, staying calm under pressure, and connecting across languages and cultures. I loved it.

Digital Marketing,
Mexico to USA Journey
While I was on the ship, in 2009, I sold my first website and started buying up domain names. After my contract ended I moved to Playa del Carmen and launched a boutique digital marketing practice — working with a small hotel, a language school, and a few real estate clients.
In 2015, I moved to the U.S. from Mexico under the Cuban Adjustment Act — just me, my newlywed wife, and a blind heart in search of a fresh start.
Since then, I’ve taught guitar, delivered bread, built websites, and worked more side gigs than I can count — all the way up until my last full-time role as a territory sales manager, leading operations across NYC and earning performance bonuses.
Now, I’m all-in on building my own income and running my business full-time.
Every step — from side hustle to steady paycheck to solo founder — taught me something. But most of all, it taught me mindfulness.

What Moves me
I build things — pages, systems, ideas. I like when something invisible becomes real.
Marketing, for me, is less about selling and more about revealing. It’s how we ask: Who are we, really? And how do we share that?
I study consciousness through voices like de Mello, Yogananda, Maharshi. Not to get answers — just to sit with the questions.
And when my mind gets too loud, I play. Dominant sevenths, across the fretboard, like small meditations.
I'm not here to master it all. Just to stay present. And keep creating from that place.
WHATSAPP ME
If you’re here, chances are I applied to a role with your company — or you found my profile and wanted to learn more.
Right now, I’m looking to balance my entrepreneurial work with a flexible, public-facing role that gets me off the screen and back into the real world. Ideally, that means connecting with people, sharing what I love about New York, and helping others have a memorable experience.
hello dear recruiter!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my site.
👤 About Me (Beyond the Résumé)
I'm Daniel Morán Aguilar, a bilingual (English & Spanish) marketing entrepreneur based in Brooklyn, NY. I currently run Opinion Marketing, a software-driven service that helps local businesses grow through SEO, reviews, and lead generation.
It’s meaningful work — but it’s also quiet, solitary, and screen-heavy.
I'm now open to in-person, human-facing roles that tap into my other strengths.
🧭 The Human Side
I’ve studied mindfulness and consciousness deeply — I bring that into how I communicate and lead.
I care about tone, timing, and connection.
I'm not trying to be a know-it-all. I aim to stay curious, grounded, and present.
🗽 Why I’d Be a Great Fit
I’ve lived in New York since 2020 and know all five boroughs at street level — I used to manage delivery operations across hundreds of local businesses.
My background includes hospitality, logistics, sales management, tech, Saas and tourism.
I speak clearly, listen well, and read the room.
I show up calm, clear, and dialed in — the kind of presence that helps others do their best work too.
